The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable with various high-quality pillows to choose from. I also loved having my bed turned down in the evening. The breakfast is delicious and wide-ranging to satisfy all palettes. We visited in February, so not balcony weather really. And yet it was mild enough one evening to sit out there briefly and enjoy the night air and view over Mariatorget. Thank you that there was furniture there and even flower boxes. All-in-all a fabulous stay. My husband and I regularly treat ourselves to long weekends away, testing different hotels in Stockholm, and Hotel Rival is one we will definitely return to.

Nice old building with updated interior and the stay had a great breakfast.

Opened in January 2015, Hotel Kungsträdgården is housed in a fully-renovated 18th century building in central Stockholm. Situated next to the King’s garden, the financial and shopping districts are also within walking distance. The Stockholm Central Station is 1 km away. I was very impressed that I could book a single room. I am also gluten and dairy intolerant and breakfast had gluten free bread and cakes as well as almond milk.

Set by a fortress from 1735, this waterfront hotel on Värmdö Island offers impressive views of Solöfjärden and the surrounding archipelago. It provides free Wi-Fi, a café in a conservatory, a restaurant and free use of bicycles. A quiet location, but accessible by bus or ferry from Stockholm. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We went on their free fortress tour, and they gave us a lift to the ferry. There are lots of lovely places to admire the views, including the cruise ships going by.

Låsta Gårdshotell is a charming, family-run property decorated in a traditional country style. The light-filled guest rooms feature large windows and oak floors. In addition a 32-inch TV can be found in each room. Some guest rooms are situated on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible. Everything is amazing here. Close to animals and forest, beautyful views and buildings. Host who was managing with breakfast was super-nice.
