This modern-designed hotel is directly across from Uppsala Central Station. Uppsala Concert and Congress Hall is 150 metres away. WiFi and access to a state-of-the-art gym are free. Both facilities and location I have my expectations; you get what you pay for. Our priorities were breakfast and location. Bother were met.

Grand Hotell Hörnan is set in an early 20th-century building, 400 metres from Uppsala Central Station. All rooms include a flat-screen TV, a seating area and free WiFi access. Clean and comfortable room in a beautiful building. Right next to the river and Uppsala old town, easy walking distance to the train station. Breakfast was plentiful and in a nice room overlooking the river. Staff was welcoming and happy to store luggage during the day before arrival.

Dating back to 1930, this intimate hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of Uppsala Cathedral and Uppsala Castle. Akademihotellet’s fresh rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom and desk. Small but comfortable room and excellent bed! Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Everything about the hotel was comfortable, homey, friendly - felt like coming home after every busy day.

Located in the harbour town of Öregrund, guests of Epokgården are only 100 metres from the sea. Very nice host, we got upgraded to an apartment because the hostel was in renovation. Very close to everything, new furniture, wifi working well, nothing to complain about :)

Situated in central Östhammar, Johanssons Gårdshotell offers free Wi-Fi and tastefully decorated rooms with a TV and private bathroom with shower. I loved the courtyard and how close it was to everything. The inn owner was also delightful.
