The location is exceptional - right by the lake, calm and atmospheric. The accommodation is comfortable and full of character. Breakfast was good, and the dinner was truly excellent. This was the property that we were most looking forward to during our visit to Sweden. We were not disappointed. The room was large and comfortable, with the separate bathroom and an added bonus of a sauna. We loved the vintage feel and the history of the place. Breakfast was an excellent spread, catering for all tastes. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our meal in the restaurant was exceptional. Free parking on site. We spent 3 days exploring the Halle-Hunneberg area. A very special experience.

Also, I like the size of the room, which was big enough for 2 people. The breakfast was amazing and the view over the river was really nice. The location was very good.

Everything about the hotel was fabulous, I couldn’t find fault at all, so much so, I have booked again for next year, before left the hotel .

We have both Sandgrund Lars Lerin Art Gallery and Varmland Museum about 10 minutes' walk away. Excellent breakfast and dinner buffet was included. The sauna and jacuzzi were a pleasant surprise. On walking distance of all the highlights. Highly recommended.
