The lodge has a really nivce livingroom in which you can relax. We has a super nice room with a view on the lake. Host Marc tiold us a lot about history of the really old lodge! This is an unqique place which we will try to visit again once!

Guests enjoy free use of the relax area, which has a gym and sauna. Great accomodation, very reccomended. Arrived by car : there is a private garage in front of the Hotel with a specific tariff for hotel guests; there is also a public open-air parking in the nearby which is cheaper (I used EasyPark app to pay). Perfect room and private bathroom. Great buffet at breakfast, and also the dinner (included in the room price) was great.

Extremely friendly and helpful team. Parking, several restaurants and bars nearby (1-2 min walk). Breakfast was very good. If you like to visit Karlstad this Hotel is my recommendation.

We have both Sandgrund Lars Lerin Art Gallery and Varmland Museum about 10 minutes' walk away. Everything - location, staff, cleanliness, decor, and food. This was just a one night stop over for us and it was perfect from the minute we walked into the hotel & were greeted by staff. Our room rate included a dinner buffet and breakfast- both had items we appreciated. What a lovely stay!

The owner was very kind and helpful, giving advice for sightseeing and recommendations for local restaurants. Great breakfast in the room, especially the locally baked bread was memorable. Recommend warmly!
