We couldn't have been happier to be welcomed by Annika after a long day on the bike. The rooms are cozy and have everything you need to cook. Definitely recommend getting the breakfast! The last stretch of road up to the farm isn't suitable for road bikes, but it's not too far to walk. Thanks Annika for being flexible and letting us in late!

At a scenic seaside location, Everts Sjöbods Bed & Breakfast features a terrace and free WiFi access. Vitlycke Museum is 11.2 km away. Most guest rooms feature sea views. This is a charming place right on the water. Beautiful views over the harbor to different rocky outcroppings. The breakfast was very good, available in a nice eating area with fresh bread and many other items. The bedroom was small but very comfortable and the shared kitchen was quite functional. The host staff was really pleasant and helpful, good interactions. We enjoyed walks along the seashore and in the area. We would return and would recommend Everts to others.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Hotell Hamngatan 27 is situated in Falkenberg in the Halland Region, 29 km from Ullared. This hotel is in a seahouse next to the Ätran River. Heavenly bed and bedding! Great shower! Good breakfast! Hated to leave!

Apelvikstrand Strandhus offers modern, self-catering holiday homes next to Apelvik Beach, 3 km south of central Varberg. Each accommodation has a furnished patio, kitchenette and flat-screen TV. There was really nothing not to like. I did experience a little difficult checking in as it was late and dark, and signage leaves a little to be desired. I have to take partial blame though, as if I had read my emails properly I would have realised there was an app to download that helped matters. The cottages are unpretentious but very nice, the location is unbeatable if scenery is your preference, and I had the good fortune to visit in the off-season making my stay great value. I fully expect the prices to be dramatically different in the high season though.

This B&B is located in a historical fortress in Varberg. The accommodation is set in what once was a bakery, hospital and prison. It's in a historic site and well kept, on the sea, and the rooms are simple but with comfortable beds, good ventilation and lighting. And spotlessly clean. There is great attention to detail, also in the breakfast rooms. There were basics, like some tea, salt, etc in the kitchen.
