Featuring a rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking Lake Mälaren, Steam Hotel is an 18-storey hotel just 2 km away from central Västerås. WiFi is free. Staff were amazing - so helpful - I am disabled and in a wheelchair / on crutches and we - myself, 2 grandsons and daughter-in-law - were visiting to scatter my son's ashes in the city where he had found work, life and had hope to make their forever home. The city itself was beautiful and the walks around the lake breathtaking.
