Free private parking is available on site. The location was great, 3-5 minutes from Bus stop, 2-3 minutes from a great pizzeria and 10-15 minutes walk from the castle. The breakfast was great and had quality products, the rooms were clean and spacious and next to the lake as well. The staff were kind and fast as well. Would visit again!

Due to unexpected road closures, we were stranded near the hotel with no way to get there. To our surprise, the staff contacted us after hearing about the situation and offered to pick us up! This incredible act of hospitality saved the day and showed just how much they care about their guests. Once at the hotel, the excellent service continued. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. They were always available to answer questions, offer recommendations, and ensure we had everything we needed. The room itself was as shown in the pictures, and the view from the room was spectacular. Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station.

Hotel Triglav Bled is located above Bled’s rowing centre. The centre of Bled is 1.5 km away. It can be easily reached on foot by walking on the lakeside trail. Small train station adjacent to hotel made for a convenient (and Old World) arrival. Breakfast was a choice of gourmet dishes; dinner was an array of local and seasonal dishes. Wine tasting was beyond my expectations. View was an ever-changing panorama of the lake. When it was dry, it was an easy walk to Bled along the lake path, an easy 30 minute walk to the Gorge and about two hours to walk around the entire lake. When it rained, I spent lazy days enjoying the indoor pool, sauna and cozy bar downstairs (best place to read) - all of which had unobstructed views to the lake. Staff were wonderful; facilities and room were immaculate yet homey (this is the only hotel I've stay at with Persian rugs in the elevator). It was like being a pampered guest at a family estate.

Set on a large lawn surrounded by a forest and above the Sava River, only 300 metres from the main road to Lake Bled, Garni Pension Pibernik is a great starting point for walking or cycling tours. Very cosy, second time here. Excellent if you have a car or like to hike.
