(My family emigrated from a neighboring town to the US after the war) After visiting this gorgeous place, it was easy to see why my grandfather missed his homeland so much.

Hotel Kristal is interconnected with an underground passage that leads to the indoor pools. The front desk staff are THE BEST! They helped me with a million questions, were so kind and welcoming every time I stopped by, and we're just overall some of the best, most welcoming hotel staff I've ever interacted with! The hotel itself has lovely old charm and is ornate and gorgeous, but the rooms are still modern and updated. I was in a room by the elevator but didn't even notice the noise. I had a delightful view onto the courtyard. The spa and wellness area is fantastic with many different options, both for pools and for services. I was able to book 2 services at the last minute, and they were lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast was FANTASTIC. A great buffet with a variety of selections. I was just sad I'm not very hungry in the mornings so I couldn't eat more.

The space was beautifully maintained, thoughtfully equipped, and incredibly welcoming. Communication was smooth and friendly, and every aspect of our stay felt effortless. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend this place to others. A truly wonderful experience! And Robi was a PERFECT host!
