We were welcomed with all necessary things in the room and even more. The fridge in the room was stuffed with any kind of drink and at our arrival also chocolates on our pillows were there waiting for us. Breakfast is in a very nice restaurant of the hotel and choice is wide and quality high. Rooms with balcony had two chairs and flowers on the balcony. The hotel is very quiet and staff was extremely kind. I was not feeling very well and they allowed me to take Breakfast in the room. Everything was so good that we decided to stay one more night so they found an exactly the same room and charged us the same price. Everything was perfect.

Horský Hotel Popradské Pleso is 200 metres away from the lakeshore of Popradske Pleso Lake and features a restaurant with traditional Slovak meals and international cuisine. The bar is open daily. Everything! Can't really put into the words how beautiful the location is... but the hotel is perfect. The staff are lovely and willing to help you, advice you etc at all times. The food in the restaurant is very good and portions are perfect to refuel after (or before) hiking. The facilities are great! Just what you need. Couldn't recommend more :)

Free access for 1 hour to the wellness centre is available and guests can relax in a sauna, steam room or a hot tub. They can also admire a stunning view of the Velicky Valley from the spacious summer terrace. A magical stay surrounded by mountains, forests, a lake and a stream. We enjoyed the view from the window and the spa in every weather. At least 4 different nature trails start from the hotel door and they're all nice. Instead of googling "Tatras best hikes", just start walking in any direction from Velické Pleso and you won't regret it. Generous buffet at breakfast and dinner and delicious food and drinks for lunch. If you read negative reviews about the "tourist restaurant", note that that's the backpackers hut. The hotel restaurant is only available to hotel guests and the lunch options are delicious. We were told you can also ask for packed lunch for the hike, but it wasn't possible because we hadn't ordered it in advance. A free-of-charge spacious private spa by reservation with saunas and a beautiful view. You can send your luggage from their lower parking lot at the Tatranská Polianka railway station by their van and hike to the hotel. You can even leave it in a storage unit for them to pick up, you just need to coordinate in advance.

The ski slopes are 200 metres away. The wellness area was truly outstanding—one of the best I’ve ever seen, offering a perfect place to relax. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was also impressive, with a great variety of delicious and plentiful options.

Hotel Toliar's wellness area comprises a Finnish sauna, a steam inhalation sauna, hot tub and ice pools, is includes in price. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk, in the restaurant and wellness. Great wellness facilities. Perfect location, especially for people who come without a car. Lovely restaurant and delicious food.

The staff were friendly and the best part of the stay was the outstanding spa! 10 stars for the spa!! I will definitely visit again.

Vila Emma is located in the ski resort of Strbske Pleso, in the High Tatras. All rooms have cable TV and a bathroom. It offers free WiFi in public areas.

The Vila Emma offers bright rooms decorated in unique colours. It looked new, clean and was very comfortable and great location. It was with a lot of little touches managed well and we felt welcomed.
