Surrounded by the High Tatras National Park and set in Tatranská Lomnica Ski Area, Penzión Jesenský offers accommodation with a garden, a terrace, a bike rental and a games room with billiards. We’ve stayed here two times. Everything is great. Amazing staff, good breakfast, you can get free maps for the hikes.

4-star APLEND Wellness Hotel Borovica is set in the heart of the High Tatras in Štrbské Pleso, the highest village of the Tatra Mountains. This hotel is fabulous. We were welcomed with all necessary things in the room and even more. The fridge in the room was stuffed with any kind of drink and at our arrival also chocolates on our pillows were there waiting for us. Breakfast is in a very nice restaurant of the hotel and choice is wide and quality high. Rooms with balcony had two chairs and flowers on the balcony. The hotel is very quiet and staff was extremely kind. I was not feeling very well and they allowed me to take Breakfast in the room. Everything was so good that we decided to stay one more night so they found an exactly the same room and charged us the same price. Everything was perfect.

Set at 1500 metres above the sea level and on the trail of Tatranska Magistrala in the Mengusovska Valley in the High Tatras, this hotel is a 60-minute hike from Strbske Pleso. Everything! Can't really put into the words how beautiful the location is... but the hotel is perfect. The staff are lovely and willing to help you, advice you etc at all times. The food in the restaurant is very good and portions are perfect to refuel after (or before) hiking. The facilities are great! Just what you need. Couldn't recommend more :)

The modern Panorama Resort hotel is located directly at Štrbské Pleso. A wellness area with Finnish, steam, and infrared saunas can be found on the ground floor just behind the reception. Fantastic area, professional staff, historical and architectural value of the building , amazing restaurant, great atmosphere

Horsky Hotel Sliezsky Dom is located in the heart of Tatra Mountains, 1670 metres above the sea level. It offers elegant rooms with mountain views, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. A magical stay surrounded by mountains, forests, a lake and a stream. We enjoyed the view from the window and the spa in every weather. At least 4 different nature trails start from the hotel door and they're all nice. Instead of googling "Tatras best hikes", just start walking in any direction from Velické Pleso and you won't regret it. Generous buffet at breakfast and dinner and delicious food and drinks for lunch. If you read negative reviews about the "tourist restaurant", note that that's the backpackers hut. The hotel restaurant is only available to hotel guests and the lunch options are delicious. We were told you can also ask for packed lunch for the hike, but it wasn't possible because we hadn't ordered it in advance. A free-of-charge spacious private spa by reservation with saunas and a beautiful view. You can send your luggage from their lower parking lot at the Tatranská Polianka railway station by their van and hike to the hotel. You can even leave it in a storage unit for them to pick up, you just need to coordinate in advance.

Perfect location for exploring the surrounding high tatras region. Lots of restaurants and hiking activities near by. Close to train station. The wellness area is great for relaxing after a day full of activities. There were not a lot of crowds, many different sauna available, hot tubs and a pool. Breakfast had typical options with added local cheeses which were great. Great value for money.

Situated within 200 metres from the lake in Strbske Pleso in the High Tatras, this hotel offers a wellness area with an indoor swimming pool. The Railway Station is nearby. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk, in the restaurant and wellness. Great wellness facilities. Perfect location, especially for people who come without a car. Lovely restaurant and delicious food.

This elegant first-class hotel in Stará Lesná combines a high level of comfort with a beautiful location in the mountains of the High Tatras. The staff were friendly and the best part of the stay was the outstanding spa! 10 stars for the spa!! I will definitely visit again.

Vila Emma is located in the ski resort of Strbske Pleso, in the High Tatras. All rooms have cable TV and a bathroom. It offers free WiFi in public areas. Amazing view, everything is clean and in nice condition. Very friendly staff.

Ideally located between the bus, tram and cog railway stations in Strbske Pleso, Hotel CROCUS offers spacious apartments with a balcony, a fully equipped kitchenette, and free wired internet. Beautiful Lake in walking distance Staff was so kind and friendly. Breakfast was good
