I have been traveling to the area for long years and seen numerous accommodations, but this one was the best I have ever been to. Rooms just perfect for hikers that need a comfortable place to stay at, and I have never seen a shared kitchen so well equipped! The host and his wife super friendly and helpful and they have a sweet dog. And the garden is just magical, we literally just stood in awe for minutes when we saw it for the first time. We will definitely boom again anytime we are visiting the area. The only thing we regret is that we didn’t book for twice as long 😅

Surrounded by the Low Tatras National Park in the village of Demanova and 3 km from the town of Liptovsky Mikulas, Penzión Dubo offers en-suite accommodation, ski storage and a garden with barbeque... Great location, easy to get by. I especially appreciated the helpfulness and friendliness of the host, who answered all of our questions via text messages quite promptly and helpfully.

The accomodation is located in a pretty and quiet village with a small but adequate supermarket and a few nice restaurants. The owner is very friendly. The shared kitchen was always kept comfortable.

Located only 300 metres from the Liptovská Mara Lake, Pension Lunatyk is a family-run guest house set 2 km from the Liptovský Mikuláš’s centre. It offers well-lit accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Everything about this place was incredible, the host was wonderful and honestly, this is such a gem of a find

The Fortuna offers en-suite rooms and self-catering apartments in the peaceful village of Demänová, just 150 metres the bus stop. Liptovský Mikuláš Train Station lies 4 km away. Great place to stay. Room is well equipped, clean, bead is really comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional, really liked it. Host is really kind, helpful and supportive. Will definitely return to this place next time.
