Just a 3-minute walk from Maple Garden Taichung and a 15-minute walk from National Taichung Theatre, Hung's Mansion is situated in Xitun District of Taichung City. It features comfortable accommodation as well as a fitness centre and free WiFi access. There is also a free parking on site. The staff were very attentive and professional. I had to change rooms due to availability. In other hotels I’ve had to wait all day for the new room to be available. But at Hungary Mansion it was ready straight after breakfast.

Set in the popular area of Taichung, Old School was opened in 2017 and features WiFi throughout the property, a restaurant lounge area, a private indoor parking lot and contract parking lot. It is only a 10-minute walk from Taichung Railway Station. This was the perfect place to arrive after a long travel day! The bed was so comfortable and the whole room was very stylish and modern. One small detail that I loved - controls for all of the lights in the room were located behind the headboard so that you could easily turn lights on and off from bed. The included breakfast was also fantastic. I am vegetarian and shared that when I checked in. The staff really went out of their way to make sure I had plenty to eat - indicating which dishes were safe for me and providing special vegetarian steamed buns for me the two mornings I had breakfast.

The rooms are quite comfortable for my family. Price is worth for the value.
