Located around 28 km from Stellenbosch University, the hotel with free WiFi is also 35 km away from Jonkershoek Nature Reserve. Some units at the property feature a patio with a mountain view. Absolutely everything!! The people, the estate, the designs, the views LOOVED everything!! Everyone is super nice, I was treated like a princess, and also I need to mention all these small details in the room, like bath salt, the mitt, bottle of their own wine ( which was also excellent!!) unique collection of teas, and the pralines. One of the best stays, and believe me- I’ve travelled A LOT!

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. It features a pool and a restaurant.

Guests can experience game viewing tours organized by the Lodge. The sun loungers by the pool allow guests to have a relaxing sun bath. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in public areas. This stay was unplanned and booked last minute. And we didn´t regret it! Tasty food, great wine and a lodge with a view over the game farm. The 2 game tours (evening and morning) ,included into the room rate, are fascinating. We saw all big 5, except leopard, but therefore Cheetahs on the hunt.

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue. First of all, the owners are the sweetest people who Take a Lot of Care of the property. The House is stunningly beautiful und they pour all of their Love into it. We came from a tented Safari and Loved the heated blankets in the bed to warm Up during the night. Take the breakfast because the Love and Care doesnt Stop. We were a group of four and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Main House but got a glimpse of the Chalets for Families and omg they were spectacular!!! Next time We are going to book one of These ;-)

With original Cape Dutch décor, all air-conditioned rooms and suites at The Winchester Hotel come with satellite TV and tea/coffee facilities. A bathrobe is available in each modern bathroom. Most rooms feature sea or mountain view and some face the Italian piazza style Courtyard. Location couldn’t be better, love the boutique style, beautifully decorated modern comfortable rooms. The breakfast and dinners are phenomenal, the chef is extremely talented and creative and our dinners there were one of the best we have had in a long time. We also appreciated their free shuttle service to the Victoria waterfront/store. This was our 3rd time at the Winchester Mansion and our best stay due to the renovation and enhancements they made.

The beach is also just 50 metres away, offering a variety of water-sports and nature tours. We had a very nice stay. The staff but hot water bottles in the bed as the weather was very chilly outside. Such a nice touch.
