Route Inn Grantia Hidatakayama Wakura no yado is a short l0-minute drive from JR Takayama Station and Furui Machinami. I totally recommend this hotel All facility is perfect .Very nice staff good in english I really love breakfast and dinner here. The public bath is very good .the staff will send you a code onsen room when you check in If i had a chance to visit takayama i will back to stay this hotel for sure . Thank you very much 🙏🏻

Honestly, I expected discrimination since the hotel was quite far from tourist attractions. Unsurprisingly, there were only Japanese guests as far as we could tell. However, the receptionists were all extremely helpful, professional, and friendly above all. I am from Taiwan and can only speak broken Japanese, yet they didn't treat me differently at all during my stay: unlike some of the restaurant and hotel staff members I had unfortunately encountered elsewhere despite trying not to speak English. Here's the icing on the cake. My wife accidentally forgot a personal item that her late father had left her, because I got the checkout time wrong and had to leave in a hurry. I immediately contacted the hotel, but we were already in a different city far from Gifu. They offered to send the item to our next destination free of charge even though I insisted on paying. I must say the staff was far more professional than some of the staffs of a few expensive, traditional onsen ryokan places we stayed in. Thank you, Hotel Route Inn Ginan Kokudo 21! 誠にありがとうございました！

Very friendly and the first floor bath was lovely. They also followed up on articles left in the rooms and even mailed an important one back.

This place was close to the metro station that was about 10-15 walk. They have a great breakfast and the staff are so friendly. Stayed on the 9th floor and had a good view of the town. They have washers “¥200” and dryers “¥100” for doing laundry.
