Offering a seafood restaurant and massage services, Hotel Route-Inn Shinagawa-Oimachi is a 5-minute walk from JR Oimachi Train Station. The simple rooms have free wired internet and a private bathroom. I won't lie, I wasn't really expecting much when I booked this hotel. However, the hotel was quite nice. The room was the size I was expecting but I was traveling solo and it was a base, not the place I intended to spend most of my time. The lobby, amenities, and staff were great. I would definitely stay here again.

A huge Japanese chain of high service hotels. Everything here is excellent and no complaints
Location good, although confusingly there is another APA hotel a few hundred meters away! Almost no English ability among the staff. They try to redirect you to a machine as much as possible, but when arriving after a very long journey, it's nicer to be helped by a human being. For a Japanese business/chain hotel, it was just okay--nothing close to special. Breakfast menu limited and boring.
The staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious (by Japanese budget hotel standards). The free coffee machine was useful! The location is great. It's right in the Tsukiji Outer Market. Excellent location for checking out the market early morning.
I booked one day before, during the peak Sakura season. It is a peak rate but that’s what you get during Sakura peak season. The location is great! The room is standard Japanese budget hotel room size. Perfect if you are traveling alone, and when visiting Japan, you are always out of the room, so that’s fine. Cleanliness wise, it is good enough for me. Furnitures are dated but it’s clean. Just that the room lacks drinking water. But can be purchased easily from the family mart below the hotel.
Perfect view over Tokyo from the 20th floor. Room comparable to any other single room hotel chain but with free VOD entertainment system on the TV with a good amount of choice in English and Japanese. Also rental WiFi available if you missed renting one at the airport and don't have an ESim or similar plan.
Location was perfect. Two subway stations (Ginza & Maranouchi line) within 2 minutes walk. Tokyo Station 6mins on subway. All tourist sites in the city area no more than 30mins away. Great value and good size room for a Japanese hotel. Separate bathroom, toilet and bath. The breakfast was very good - western and Japanese food. Area was very safe, easy to wander great restaurants and shops. Highly;y recommend this chain all over Japan.
It was close enough to the station. We paid for the breakfast and it was good, with both Japanese and Western options. The morning staff was really nice and fluent in English. I think the hotel is OK for young backpackers or someone in a budget with low expectations.
Facilities: two convenience stores in the hotel. The coin laundry and budget restaurants are also inside the hotel. You can enjoy Japanese cuisine with competitive prices. Hotel room: all rooms were recently renovated. So it’s new & clean.
It was longer stay this time and my 3rd time in this hotel. Love the location - few subway stations nearby, 10min by walk to Tokyo train station, restaurants, shops, but on the other hand quiet place. Hotel is typical what business APA chain offers - japanese size of clean rooms and everything important inside.
