Definitely an amazing stay, the onsen was very clean, for the price it dinner and breakfast alone was worth it. The staff are very helpful and kind.

Beautifully designed with local style, comfortable western bed option but with a ryokan feel. My room with the private onsen was the best. Half board of breakfast and dinner included, with surprise meals beginning on the 3rd night of stay. I stayed for a week.

    - Spacious and comfortable room, though would have preferred higher floor for better view of the lake. - The resort had many comfortable and private areas for sitting and relaxing, including a fireplace, music room, complimentary coffee and juices. The foot spa was amazing. - The onsen was posh and private. Love the little outdoor pool. - dinner and breakfast had good spreads

The location was about 20 min drive to main Abashiri city, a bit secluded but very nice resort. Breakfast selection was ample with traditional Japanese hot pot, sashimi and sushi, with alternative western menu too. Loved the laid-back vibe and resort like of the entire facility. Value for money with the ryokan stay along with breakfast and dinner included! It a nice retreat away in Abashiri, away from the main touristy areas of Biei and Furano.
