The ryokan is perfectly clean, room is big, with a table and seats. You are provided yukata to feel the traditional japanese way. Shared bathroom is perfect. The breakfast is exactly as on the photograph, not tradiitional japanese but bred and fruits and vegetables, with egg and small piece of ham. Not enough but several options at metro station offering traditional breakfast early morning (sukiya, matsuya). The ryokan is located in Koganei city, 5min from the Musashi-Koganei metro station; the rapid Chuo Line takes you to the Shinjuku station in ~15 min. Many facilities around the metro station, virtually anything you could search for. Excellent communication with surroundings with bus station next to metro. The big park with the architecture museum is also nearby, perfect for jogging.

Takanawa Hanakohro - in Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa is located in Tokyo, 2.3 km from Ebisu Garden Place. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.

We had a beautiful Japanese style room with lots of space and everything we needed included. The beds were softer than in other hotels which was perfect for me, and there was a selection of pillows to cater for different needs. The Japanese breakfast was delicious. The hotel is locted a short walk uphill from Shinagawa station. (At the time of our visit, construction was going on at the station area and the hotel shuttle bus did not stop in front of the station, which was not a problem for us). The hotel garden was beautifully illuminated at night. Due to location and the overall standard in the hotel which was excellent, I will most certainly stay at this hotel again when going back to Tokyo.

Amazing and cozy stay at this Japanese style ryokan! Totally worth it to live in a Japanese style hotel while visiting the country! I loved the onsens on the top floor, especially the outside one, where you can enjoy under the open sky 😍

Very nice house, modern but looked typical at the same time. Rooms were confortable, with ac and nice shared bathrooms. Its located in a nice part of the city with metro close by.

nice decor. friendly staffs. good fragance with many extra service. the room is clean. enough for family and couple. the location is easy to find and near ikebukuro station. there are many foreigners to talk and exchange the infos. self service for water and hot water and fridge to put the stuffs in.

We really loved staying here. The staff went above and beyond to let us use the washer and help me find a local place for drying. The room is comfortable and clear and we loved having a dedicated toilet room right outside our room.
