We wanted the traditional ryokan, onsen experience and this certainly met our expectations. It is a decent half hour drive from Himeji but the ryokan offered a complementary shuttle service. We had an amazing dinner and breakfast, and enjoyed soaking in the natural hot springs on the hotel property.
