Wonderful huge hotel complex with the perfect ambient everywhere. The breakfast as well as the dinner were traditional and very tasty. The Onsen area is perfect to relaxe and the stuff where always there to help us.

The property is very close to the Bamboo Forest and is very quiet regardless of its central placement. Our room had a really nice view, it was spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a little bit of an “upper class” vibe (in a good way). We booked with breakfast and dinner and they were really worth the money! The dinner is a Kaiseki meal, presented like a little work of art. We didn’t really know how to eat it but the staff was so friendly and guided us. Overally staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience and we wish we could have stayed more here.

The room was incredible with an amazing view and the private onsen in the room overlooking the river and bridge was truly special. Everything was clean and it was very spacious, with comfortable beds and amenities.

very comfortable, clean, tasty, attentive & reasonably priced ryokan. the mediocre location is more than compensated for by the across-the-street onsen -- a truly authentic local experience (including the electric bath!) -- for which u receive free vouchers & the necessary supplies. we slept 4 in the spacious-enough "Premium Quadruple Room" -- of which there are 2 -- & i recommend making a special request for the downstairs option w/attached garden. enjoy!

The staff is super kind and helpful, the property is very pretty and everything is very typical. There are two onsens available for the guests (a male one and another for women) with very good conditions. We could opt from a japanese breakfast and a continental breakfast, so we chose the first one. Super complete and with a lot of dishes, if you haven’t tried and are ok with trying different food types, you definitely should go for the japanese breakfast. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
