The outdoor onsen bath, though small, was wonderful. The ryokan is a quick walk to the historic Kabuki theater if you take the path behind the property. The theater is definitely worth a visit. Staff at counter, parking area and room service staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was excellent - big, clean and the futons were comfortable. The onsen was superb. Good restaurant within the premises. In addition varied eating places were within walking distance. The location was closed to a couple of popular places of interest.
