The property was situated perfectly across from Mt Aso. Had the clouds not been in the way we would have views during check-in, during dinner, from our outdoor hot springs and from the observation deck, the weather was uncooperative and we missed out on the view but did not take away from the location of the hotel itself.

Beautiful hotel surrounded by nature. Room was stylish and spacious, looking out into a private garden. There was a private outdoor onsen connected to the room as well. The locally sourced food was amazing and served in a private room with a garden view. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
