The food was amazing. First time experience with Kaiseki menu and everything was exceptional down to the appetiser drinks. Loved that the menu showcased a lot of regional specialties to Kyushu, especially Oita prefecture. The location next to a stream was very peaceful. We enjoyed sitting and listening to the river. In room onset was great though the water from the hot spring is very very very hot (good thing they warn you in the introduction video) and loved the little touches such as females being able to pick their own Yukata pattern. Futons were very comfortable and plenty of tea and coffee available in room. A special thanks to our Ryokan host, Ryota, who tried his best to convey everything to us in English (and did so very well) and extended every hospitality possible to in an impeccable manner. We would 100% return.

Awesome resort and facilities. Room was huge and with 2 floors. Two private onsen for the room, one inside and other outside!

The room was phenomenal, from the amazing view of Beppu from the terrace to the private onsen overlooking the city below. The staff was incredibly nice and thoughtful and catered to our every need. Probably one of the best experiences I've had in Japan! To top it all off, the restaurant serves amazing food in an intimate setting.

Absolutely beautiful experience.

Within a 10-minute walk from Beppu Station. Free WiFi is available. Surrounded by greenery, air-conditioned rooms have a seating area with large windows and garden views.

Excellent staff, very nice and helpful. The common areas are pleasant, and the room is great (tatami area, and a western-style coffee table by the window). We enjoyed the outdoor bath a lot, which is booked in slots for privacy. We loved the Japanese-style breakfast.
