Great renovated hotel, everything is very clean and new. The rooms are big, with a mix of traditional Japanese and modern design. The view was beautiful. The onsen is tattoo-friendly and the staff is very kind. Short 5 min taxi drive from Hiraizumi station or there's a bus that drops you very close. We didn't know what to expect when we booked but it was a great value for money.

Situated 19 km from Chuson-ji Temple, 20 km from Motsuji Temple and less than 1 km from Mizusawa Station, Suimeiso features accommodation set in Oshu.

The owner’s introduced is very friendly and patiently. There is a local supermarket in the vicinity for about 4 minutes by car. Dinner was delicious.

Everything was great, really enjoyed my stay in Shizukatei. Room was great and very comfortable, Baths are also great and the surroundings are beautiful and very quiet. They have a transport service and picked me up from the train station, it is just a 10mins drive. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and very high quality. Team was really nice, very patient and helpful. Highly recommended!
