The kaiseki dinner is very nice. Breakfast spread was good and varied. The onsen facilities in ryokan is very good, especially the open air bath area. The sand bath option is unusual, and the foot bath avail is nice too. Even as the staff mostly cannot speak english well, they were very helpful and assisted to their best efforts. The shop in lobby level is interesting with things to purchase.

Wakariki Ryokan enjoys a location in Yanagawa, just 20 km from Yoshinogari Historical Park and 32 km from Hirayama Hot Spring.

We liked everything about our 4 night stay here. Our traditional room was very comfortable and cosy. The traditional breakfast was delicious and our host was so friendly and welcoming.

This hotel is three star rated but I feel like they deserve to have more. Staff are friendly and the location is close to the canal and restaurants so we had a night walk after dinner. The Japanese style room is spacious, nice and clean with a beautiful private Japanese garden view. The free parking lot is on the other side of the road, and the Japanese style breakfast is exceptional too. I highly recommend and will stay in this hotel again if I come back for another visit.

Craft Inn Te staff organised workshop visits for us, we planned our trip in advance with them and it was a real pleasure for our kids and us to discover unique skills and fascinating people. Our interpreted Shiho was very helpful and we were happy to spend the day with her. We had booked one night there but we stayed added one more night as this place is really lively with a unique atmosphere.

We had a lovely stay at Yanagawa B&B hatago. The host was so nice and the room was beautiful. Also, we had a really delicious traditional japanese breakfast, that we enjoyed very much. We would definitely stay here again.
