The tatami is comfortable and clean, the ceilings are low (my bf of 6ft hit his head on the beam a few times, that’s how authentic this is) - the staff keeps the tatami clean and is diligent about changing our futon sheets daily - they change out the yukata daily, too - breakfast is simple and nice. For an affordable price, you get a bath, an onsen, a tatami floor, and futon beds. The hotel itself is not heated but you can heat your room.
