Absolutely loved our stay here. The accommodation is super cosy and felt like home! You are able to use all of the facilities such as laundry and bike rental etc for a low price and also able to use the big kitchen. The location is about a 15 minute bike ride from Kinosaki town / 5 minute drive but the location is right next to a beach and some places to hikes and it was lovely to cycle around so it wasn’t a problem for us. Yuke could not do enough for us and welcomed us with a map of Kinosaki and all the recommendations and also gave us lifts when needed.

10 min walk from the station, this is a fabulous ryokan. The staff is really nice and accommodating, and the room is very traditional but still functional. There is a yukata and wooden shoes if you want to try them. The private baths are definitely a must, and the onsen pass provided by the staff is perfect to visit the 7 onsens of the town. You'll get a really copious japanese style breakfast and dinner.

Extremely good service, very beautiful lobby and our japanese styled room was both fancy and cosy. Dinner served to room was great experience and delicious and server was helpful guiding us with the food. Private onsen was highlight of our stay. Amazing experience, we really had a great time. Being european, we were quite unknowledgeable about this part of japanese culture, but this wasn't a problem, as the staff were very kind and willing to explain things to us (even without spoken words on some occasions). The dining was unforgettable (although I must say, if you are not used to japanese food and/or seafood, I recommend that you keep an open mind and a willingness to try something new, as many of the dishes were quite different than what you may be used to). Everything was really tasty though, and by far most of the dishes suited our palates really well! Both the on-site onsen and public onsen in the town were stellar. Location is a bit further from town (900 meters), but the staff are always ready to drive you and pick you up, so no issue at all. They also have e-bikes so you can take a ride up to the coast (takes about 10 minutes on the bike).

For our first time in a ryokan it was a great surprise and experience. The room was the good size for 4 people and we enjoyed the balcony with the view to the town's main street and the river. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and takes great care to explain the different activities to do in the ryokan and in the town. We had an amazing time using our yukatas and hopping from one onsen to another, and we also very happy with the meals that were prepared at the ryokan - the dinner was definitely the best we had in all our stay.

The rental yukatas and hantens were the most stylish and unique compared to what guests at other ryokans were wearing. Location is excellent, close to train station and main street and onsens. Staff gave us an onsen pass for the 7 onsens in town. We also got a private booking at the bath in house. Staff provided an orientation to town and also provided excellent hospitality, including amazing food service. Rooms were traditional and a little old but comfortable and the bathroom had a Toto.

Lovely authentic ryokan in hot spring town. The owner is very welcoming and hospitable. The ryokan is comfortable for a big family and the private onsen is great. Perfectly located in the centre of town to walk to all the public onsens with one being next door. Meals were huge and well prepared. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially for helping with yakata and kimono dressing. A must place to visit, we will definitely be coming back here to stay again.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Dinner and breakfast was served in our room and each item described to us as they were laid out. Our futons were laid out and packed away by staff. The whole ryokan was kept immaculate and we heard no noise at all. Geta, yukata, umbrellas and baskets were provided for going to and from onsens. An onsen pass was also provided from check in to 3pm on the day of check out. We were allowed to keep our towels until this point and our luggage was held after check out.

It’s a stunning traditional style Ryokan with tatami floors in the bedrooms. Having the option to have a bed or a futon is nice, although I think a futon is actually comfier! Only 2 minutes from the train station and a stones throw from great coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets. They allow you to book the private onsen for just under an hour, which allows mixed sex couples to enjoy it together, unlike the public onsens.
