We loved our stay at Sansuien. The staff were welcoming and super helpful. We needed to send our bags to Hagi by takkyubin and they were very helpful getting this to happen. Thank you. The meals were all outstanding. 13 dishes for dinner and healthy, fresh, tasty and fun. Don't forget to look around their beautiful gardens.

Beautiful, traditional hotel with exceptional staff and service. Three large onsens. Amazing breakfast. The garden is something special - you can feed the carp. We loved our stay.

    The property itself is old and in need of repair or rebuilding. The futons are small and thin, and the pillows are inadequate. However, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Also, the evening dance, magic and comedy show performed by three octogenarian ladies and the younger staff is extremely entertaining. The hot spring is nice too.
