There was good quality and variety of food served for breakfast. The hotel rooms and facilities were very clean and very well maintained. The rooms were very spacious and we had an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay at Sanage. We also enjoyed both the public and private onsens available at the hotel. I love the peaceful environment in and around the hotel grounds. There were some scenic spots for photo taking within the nearby grounds. There was a restaurant near the hotel that served a wide variety of food, and we enjoyed all of the several meals we had at this restaurant.

Relaxing in a hot bath under the open sky, surrounded by stunning nature and a sense of complete seclusion, was truly a unique experience. We were incredibly lucky to be the only guests in the entire hotel during our stay, so we had both outdoor baths entirely to ourselves. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Each meal was an assortment of different Japanese dishes that would be difficult to discover and try on your own. Everything was prepared and presented to the highest standard, and the kaiseki-style serving made it feel even more special. And finally, staying in such a grand traditional Japanese room was unforgettable. It felt as if we were living in one of the palaces we had been visiting throughout Japan.

Boasting an pool with stunning sea views and a hot spring bath, Irago Ocean Resort offers rooms in Honeyama, a 70-minute drive from JR Toyohashi Station. The beachfront is 800 metres away. The room was very clean, the beds are super comfy and they have prepared 3 different kinds of pillows ( 1 hard pillow, 1 feather soft pillow and 1 throw pillow) for each bed which made my sleep very comfortable and relaxing since I am used to sleep using 2 pillows. The view from our room was excellent.

It was truly authentic Japanese ryokan experience. The room with a river view was great, and the bath was lovely. The staff was super helpful and had prepared English information documents and menus even though they didn’t speak English.

Boasting a rooftop, open-air hot spring baths with magnificent views of Ise Bay, Shuku Kaifuu is located right along the coast of the ocean, just 8 minutes on the shuttle from Utsumi Train Station. We enjoyed food very much. We enjoyed Onsen.
