Kashintei Shirahama nằm ở Senboku, cách Suối nước nóng Nyuto 15 km và Ga Morioka 49 km. Meals were easily the most intricate and most sophisticated of all the Ryokans I've tried. They go out of their way to showcase Akita specialties, which I really appreciate as it means I need not travel to restaurants specially to try them. They provide a private dining room and I cheekily thought to myself that this is so you can lick your plate clean! Indeed it was so delicious that if the Michelin inspectors came, I am sure they will get a star. Best service out of all the ryokans I went to - everyone is super attentive and super responsive. On the booking.com app, they were the most prompt to respond to messages. They had good recommendations for me on what I could do around Lake Tazawako and the surrounding area. Other examples of exemplary service: They took the initiative to ask me if I would like a picture with my meal (as I was a solo traveller). How delightful! Out of all the ryokans I stayed in, this is the only one who did that. Another example: they asked me if they could clean my room while I am out. This is unlike other hotels and ryokans that instead ask if I would like my room cleaned (assuming that the default is no). The room was of a most excellent layout with good separation of different areas and a good size such that it makes you feel like you are living in your own apartment and not so much a resort. The bed was also very comfortable - there is something special about the bed linens. They were so refreshing to the touch and so comfortable. At every corner there are thoughtful gestures - a little bench for you to admire a view, the tatami flooring throughout. Every effort has been made to make it a special and premium experience. Even the toilet is larger than some of what I’ve seen and has charming and tasteful decorations. I am so glad I tried out Kashintei Shirahama and hope to be back!

Yukemuri no Yado Inazumi Onsen cung cấp chỗ nghỉ ở Yuzawa. Mỗi phòng tại ryokan 4 sao này đều nhìn ra núi, đồng thời khách có thể sử dụng tắm suối nước nóng. The dinner was excellent. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nice facilities.

This place is an absolute gem, the staff were amazing. The location was brilliant, directly across the road from the lake, you can watch the beautiful sun sets over the lake! The chef took so much care in preparing meals. Would love to stay there again!

I went at an early hour and it was very peaceful. We were able to see sakura from the window of our room. We only stayed one day but enjoyed our stay!

Yokote Central Hotel tọa lạc ở Yokote, cách Ga tàu Omagari 24 km và Shigarai Ski Area 33 km. This is old hotel but you can see they did upgrade some facilities. There are smart TV and ceiling in hotel room. Room is clean. They also provide free curry for dinner.

Tazawako Lake Resort & Onsen is set in Senboku and offers a hot springs bath. Guests can use the ski storage space and enjoy the on-site restaurant. Very nice hotel with a classy onsen and a very rich breakfast and dinner buffet. Child-friendly (games room) and pet friendly. Spacious and clean rooms. Shuttle service from the train station. In the immediate surroundings there is a temple with a large garden, unfortunately not very well maintained. Good public transport to the lake and the mountains.
