The food was incredibly worth it and one of the most memorable meals of our trip. The staff was gracious and helpful and the rooms were fantastic.

The staff is very friendly and kind. The room is clean and very cozy. The location was perfect, right along Lake Kawaguchi. The room size was big and we loved the Japanese style doors to the bedroom. The private open air hot tub facing the lake was spectacular. Would stay here again!

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Although we arrived with a delay they were still able to swiftly arrange our transfer, prepare our room and our meal as well.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. Very interesting place: comfortable (real futons, tasty tea, wonderful breakfast), good placed (pedestrian street, temple nearby, a bunch of cafes). People who work there are friendly and always can help you.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Unforgettable. Property is in the town but for a luxury japenese experience this place is unparalleled.This super luxurious property is in the town so be aware of that . But it’s an oasis worth visiting . Escape to a world of its own . We booked a loft view room with spectacular views of Mount Fuji . The staff are amazing . Breakfast is an experience and even though we are Halaal and required a vegetarian breakfast it was no issue
