Hotel was easy to find with free parking and an excellent location with amazing service. Could have stayed here for a whole week with the castle views!

Shokinkan is a truly magical place operated by incredible people. Nestled in a gorgeous, ancient temple complex, the grounds are extremely fun to hike/explore during the day, with plenty of opportunities to learn about the history of the place through thoughtful signage and the wonderful staff. The food was absolutely delicious - we were eating a feast of unique foods specially prepared for us every evening and morning, which made the experience epic. Okami-san and everyone else here gregariously welcomed us with cups of beautiful matcha, and even shuttled us to and from Yasugi station and to the Adachi Museum of Art. I will never forget this place!

The units will provide guests with air conditioning, a safety deposit box and a flat-screen TV. Everything! Right from the reception, the amenities offered to the service of the staffs. Rooms were really clean and the in room dining is a must have. We booked the couple room with the en suite onsen and we can directly see the Torii gate from our room. The experience is exceptional. There is also access to the common area with many snacks and drinks provided. One of the most complete experience I have had in a hotel. The price might be on the steep end but definitely worth the experience!
