The staff were incredibly kind, efficient and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They even took me to tge post office to forward my luggage. English was spoken well by most of the staff. After weeks of struggling with vegetarian food the food here was superb.

The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. It was one of three onsens we visited, and I must say it was as good as the others, which were more expensive. I arrived late because I had some sightseeing to do, but I enjoyed the tatami room, bath, and breakfast. The staff were very friendly, and the area is surrounded by woods and ocean. Fukui is a very special area that not many people see, so I recommend visiting it if you get the chance.

Amid its magnificent garden with koi-pond, Japanese-style hotel Haiya features hot spring baths, Japanese stone saunas and karaoke rooms. Everything was great. Comfortable stay. With wife and family. The Japanese style dinner and breakfast was delicious and with the excellent server's gave it a wonderful experience. The inside onsen was good, but the outside onsen hot spring was perfect for this time of year with the cool air around you. Great View of the mountains from our 7th floor room. Recommended for those who want to have real Japanese style experience.
