Experiencing a Ryokan was amazing and Onyado Yuinosho is the perfect place for it, the staff is incredibly nice and accomodating, the food is incredible, the rooms and facilities are so fancy and pretty and atmosphere is so relaxed and cozy! They give you all sorts of amenities, they have free ramen at night, coffee, yogurt drinks and they even leave local candy to try inside the room! They also have vending machines for soft drinks/coffee/tea and alcohol! The meals they serve are extremely tasty and fancy with beautiful window views of the mountains! The private onsen rooms are beatiful and relaxing! The two nights we spent there were the highlight of our trip! Absolutely must recommend this place if you plan to visit Shirakawa-go!

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. Spacious room, everything was well arranged and organised. Staff was helpful and professional, and provided all necessary information we needed to know about. And the guidebook in the room showed info about how to travel around the area. And there is a laundry room and we could pay to wash and dry (p.s. very reasonable prices). On-site free parking is a plus too!!

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. Food was excellent, hot springs were relaxing and well maintained. Extra amenities such as free sake, beer/wine, late night ramen, and live music was very appreciated.

Beautiful old building. Wonderful Japanese breakfast. Amazing hosts. Comfortable rooms. Excellent onsen inside the hotel.

Tọa lạc ở Gero, cách Gero Station 8 phút đi bộ, 寅家 Japanese modern hotel nhìn ranúi. EVERYTHING. The dream come true in a ryokan (and affordable). I truly love the private onsen. It was bliss. The room, the yukatas, the ambience, the fact that look like is brand new construction but in a traditional aesthetic. A dream.

All the meals were outstanding! Beautifully presented and delicious. Almost too beautiful to eat! The houses are one-of-a-kind and the setting is idyllic. Staff wonderfully kind and provided amazing help, including transfers to station which was so helpful. A highlight of our trip. Will tell all my friends to come! 😁

Nằm tại vị trí thuận tiện ở Hirayu Onsen, Takayama, Yunohirakan nằm cách Bảo tàng Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village 38 km, Bảo tàng The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum 47 km và Ga Matsumoto 49 km. We felt right at home in Yunohirakan. The rooms were comfortable, and the very quiet location as well as the height allowed us to sleep comfortably with the windows open. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And we especially loved the evening meals which were delicious!
