Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. Very nice Ryokan. Room was super big that had sitting/tea area. We ordered the dinner separately and it was a very nice experience too.

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. the room was awesome, the onsen was nice, especially the onsen outside the room, inside the room not so hot, could be hotter. Room is very spacious, comfy, a lot of amenities.

Beautiful place with amazing hot springs (for private use). Perfect for a relaxing stay, rooms were very comfortable and service was excellent! Tao (hope I’m spelling that right) was very sweet and attentive. We also had dinner and breakfast and food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this place! 👍

The hotel is very beautiful and the japanese room is amazing. Very clean and comfortable, with attention to every detail. Drinks are provided for free and you have a kettle in your room. What really made our stay exceptional is the staff. They are very welcoming and kind. They make you feel like home and help you have a traditional japanese experience. This place holds a place in our hearts because of how the staff treated us. They offered us fresh made tea when we arrived with snacks and explained to us the japanese breakfast. Seriously very attentive and generous. I highly recommend staying here. We stayed for one night but I think two nights is better to enjoy the hotel and beautiful Takayama.

Well beyond expectations on almost every level: kindness, hospitality, food... First of all, the host is really responsive both via the Booking message system and Whatsapp, which is a plus: even before getting to Japan we already chatted to arrange a pick up from the station to the hotel. So, if you are worried about the distance from the city center, forget your worries. Second: the host's kindness and hospitality were even beyond the (already high) japanese standards and he also spent some time with us suggesting things to do and places to visit. Also, every other person working there was super-kind and sweet, we really felt welcomed. Third: the food. The owner is a really skilled cook, offering an outstanding kaiseki-style dinner and breakfast, with both regional and national delicious dishes. One of the things that drove our choice to Nagataki were some previous reviews about the food, and we can confirm it was even beyond our expectations, with special attention to both the taste and the composition. Last, the Nagataki charm. Here each host has its own traditional Japanese house, which is just an amazing way to experience a slice of traditional Japanese life. Also, the hotel has got a small onsen that - being few people in the structure for the night we spent there - was split in two private onsen. So, to sum up, we cannot recommend Nagataki enough: if you are undecided, give it a try and you won't regret it.

It was an amazing experience and everyone working there was just incredible. We would recommend everyone passing through Shirakawago to stay here. It was simply unforgettable.

Nằm tại vị trí thuận tiện ở Hirayu Onsen, Takayama, Yunohirakan nằm cách Bảo tàng Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village 38 km, Bảo tàng The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum 47 km và Ga Matsumoto 49 km. I love everything about our stay in Yunohirakan. The hot bath was wonderful. We loved the outdoor baths looking out the little forest covered in snow. Room was large and comfy. The dinner was amazing. Hida beef was delicious. The breakfast was also tasty. The service was also great. They were very welcoming and kind to us. It feels more personal and private here than other bigger ryokans. Such a lovely memorable experience for us in Japan.
