The rooms are spacious enough for 3 people, with futon bedding on tatami mats. It's not far from the bus terminal. The bathroom and toilet are shared but very clean. There's a hot and cold water dispenser on the 1st floor, and a dry room in the basement. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but it's advisable to book in advance. You can also have your luggage sent to the accommodation in advance with prior notice."

Happokan is only a 3-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Ski Resort, and brings its guests cosy Western and Japanese-style rooms, a hot spring bath and free Wi-Fi at the lobby. It is very clean and surprisingly spacious for Japan standard. The location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk to Happo One ski resort and to the bus terminal as well. The onsen, although not big was a bonus in the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

A very short walk to the ski lifts. Close to the main entry/exit point and plenty of ski hire options to choose from. The owners/operators are friendly and really helpful. Accommodation is comfortable, traditional Japanese style, room was well heated for the winter. The whole place was well maintained, clean and well suited to our needs. Took the daily breakfast option and this was fine, Japanese breakfast choice changed daily and only started to repeat because we were there for so long. We will re-book if we can next time we are in the area. Really happy. Thanks

Featuring an indoor and an open-air hot spring bath, Bergtour Marukita offers Japanese-style rooms, free wired internet and Japanese multi-course (kaiseki) dinners. Very nice onsen after you spend a day on snow. breakfasts and dinners are delicate and delicious, and changed per day so you want have the same things twice. The staff are showing the warmest hospitality ever seen. They even open the onsen for us to take a bath before leaving after check out, and thoughtfully prepare the towel and everything for us. 11 out of 10, no questions about it.

Perfect location, walking distance about 8 mins to Naikayama chair lift. The owners and everybody who work there are super friendly and helpful. Ken helped me with my ski pass and rental. All of them are so kind and compassion. Bed are comfortable and the pillow is Japanese type pillow that has special seeds inside which is good to sleep on.
