One of my favorite experiences in Japan was staying here, fantastic place and amazing hosts Sasa and Annie were the nicest people I had the pleasure to meet best hospitality in the world. Beautiful and well equipped house that made our stay so delightful. It is spacious for my family of 4. Comes with washing machine (no dryer) but sufficient hangers and drying rack. There is a toaster and microwave oven. Convenient location, with easy access to the bus stop and shops. Owner is responsive to our questions and very helpful.

At the ryokan, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The staff were super nice and friendly, and very enthusiastic with speaking english as well as possible, had no problems understanding eachother at all. Our breakfast was wonderful and they helped us send the luggage to our next hotel.

Guests at the ryokan can enjoy an Asian breakfast. At Shirasagiyu Tawaraya, the traditional restaurant is open for dinner and serves Japanese cuisine. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. We had a truly unforgettable stay at this ryokan. From the moment we arrived, the attention and care from the staff were exceptional. We are especially grateful to the young woman who kindly assisted us in English—she was incredibly helpful and patient, especially since it was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese setting and we were a bit clumsy with the customs. Thanks to her and the whole team, we felt completely comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay. The room with a private onsen and sauna was absolutely incredible, offering stunning views that made the experience even more special. The traditional dinners and breakfasts were both delicious and plentiful—each meal was a true feast, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The area around the ryokan is also beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a walk or simply to relax and take in the atmosphere. We also really appreciated the convenient shuttle service to and from Kagaonsen Station—it made the logistics of getting there effortless. We wholeheartedly recommend this ryokan to anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and luxurious Japanese experience

This ryokan provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The property offers allergy-free units and is located 1.8 km from Kanazawa Castle. This property was sublime. The service was impeccable, the food authentic and incredibly amazing, healthy, and delicious. The staff beyond courteous, but that is pretty standard for Japan :). The location was lovely, the accommodations gorgeous. Everything about this place really was the quintessential Japanese experience. I wish I could be back there. Thank you for such a magical stay.

Guests can stroll around the Higashi Chaya District, a historical entertainment district with various shops, located a 8-minute walk away from Yamamuro Ryokan. Kenrokuen Garden is 10-minutes’ away on foot while the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art is a 15-minute walk away. Myoryuji - Ninja Temple is a 10-minute drive from the property. Virtues abound at this wonderful inn. The central location, the accommodating staff, the many room choices, the very nice onsen bath, the easy and pleasant common room, the perfect pillows and non-down comforters, the very quiet neighborhood. We stayed in the quiet second floor family room (with restrooms also on the second floor.) For what you get, this place is a bargain! Also, the incredible Kanazawa Curry Laboratory restaurant is only a few blocks away. Best three nights sleep we have had in years of visiting Japan!
