Describing the suite and the level of care that has gone into making this ryokan a pampering experience for guests in words would not do it justice. From the private onsen, Aesop products in the bathroom, fully stocked fridge everyday (all complimentary), huge and extra comfortable beds and incredible Japanese breakfast. We loved every second of our stay in Kanazawa and were so glad to add an extra night.

It was a full experience, the nicest dinner and breakfast we had in the entire trip ! The view from the room was beautiful, there was a private onsen! We will come back for sure!

Kenrokuen Garden is 10-minutes’ away on foot while the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art is a 15-minute walk away. Myoryuji - Ninja Temple is a 10-minute drive from the property. I totally enjoyed my stay at Ryokan Yamamuro! This is a family-run ryokan and the hosts, Bungo and his mother, are very kind and accomodating. We only stayed in Kanazawa for a day and Bungo was totally helpful on recommending where to visit and eat during our short trip (he gave very good recommendations!). He even helped us book a bus for our trip to Shirakawa-go and Takayama. And what’s great about the property doesn’t stop there. The ryokan itself is a very nice place to stay! It is located in the heart of Kanazawa, most tourist spots are located within 5-15 minutes walking distance. The place (lobby, room, dining room, etc.) is very clean, they even cleaned our luggage wheels before sending it to our room, you totally can see the effort they make to maintain the ryokan’s cleanliness. The room is very nice with direct access to indoor garden. This is by far the best hotel stay I had. Thank you for hosting us.
