We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this place. The area is stunning and the accommodation is spacious and cozy, and had everything we needed. It was the highlight of our honeymoon trip to stay in this ryokan. We were also able to choose between Japanese and European style breakfast in the morning which was nice. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay there longer. Thank you :)

The staff were extremely friendly and the hot springs by the river were fantastic. The meals were by far the best japanese food I've ever had. Located in a beautiful town with lots of shops and a nice walking trail along the river. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a traditional onsen ryokan experience.

Excellent experience staying at a traditional Japanese inn. The staff were exceptional, the grounds were beautiful and quiet, and the private house with the onsen bath was lovely.

Located a 5-minute drive from JR Kanazawa Station, Ryokan Yamamuro offers Japanese-style guestrooms with free WiFi. Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle Park can both be reached with a 5-minute walk. Property matches the description. Best value for money. Nice and quiet room, clean bathrooms, good onsen. Thanks to Mr Yamamuro my stay in Kanazawa was great. He speaks nice English, and told me a lot about attractions to check out, and recommended restaurants. Also he helped me a lot with reservations to tours and restaurants via the phone, as a do not speak Japanese.

Set in Kanazawa, 400 metres from Kanazawa Castle, Kinjohro features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The Japanese breakfast was fantastic. The western breakfast was subpar in comparison. I would have loved to have had some homemade jam with my bread. Usually western breakfast does not need olive oil with their bread. Olive oil for dipping is more of a lunch/dinner option.

Boasting a 200-year history, Motoyu Ishiya features classic architecture, an original Noh stage and a garden. Very pretty traditional ryokan.
