We loved everything about our stay at Kurumiya. The staff is so dedicated and friendly. They really care about offering the best service. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are very nice, stocked with nice amenities and we made good use of the private Onsen after walking all day. Its a small boutique hotel decorated with taste and with attention to details, it is perfectly located so you can walk everywhere to the main attractions in Kanazawa. We would go back in a heartbeat!

This place is wonderful, located at the old Geisha neighborhood. The accommodation unit is very big with washing machine and a small kitchen. It also has a dining room and the bathroom is realy great. When you stay there you get the old vibes of Japan in a spotless small hotel.

It was in to small town 30 train ride from downtown Kanazawa with incredible local chefs that cook with locally caught fresh fish some caught that morning , and the nicest small onsen that has and incredible natural spring and a great small cold bath , please share. Also incredibly kind hosts who truly made my stay so nice and extremely thoughtful.

The stay was really nice. Parking in front, wifi working really well, owner welcoming us and explaining everything. The breakfast nearby was awesome (also owned by the same person). The place was really clean, modern and minimalistic and very quiet.

We went there to experience a japanese traditional hotel, as well as to rest after 10 days in Tokyo region, before going to another 10 days of walking in Kyoto-Osaka-Hiroshima region. Overall, was the perfect experience... The shuttle from JR station to the hotel has a great schedule. The staff was very nice and available, the room marvelous and traditional, very spacious also. The surroundings of the hotel are beautyfull and great for a walk in the woods by the river. The public onsen of the hotel is relaxing and an amazing experience (we went 3 times in 2 nights).The view from the room also wonderfull. This was the most expensive hotel (per night) we had in our 25 days japan trip, but worth it! I recommend it to everyone. I think 2 nights are perfect to rest and enjoy the experience, with breakfast included. Breakfast has like 14 different things in front of you, and change each day. You can try lots of different stuff from Japan.

Excellent experience staying at a traditional Japanese inn. The staff were exceptional, the grounds were beautiful and quiet, and the private house with the onsen bath was lovely.

Located a 5-minute drive from JR Kanazawa Station, Ryokan Yamamuro offers Japanese-style guestrooms with free WiFi. Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle Park can both be reached with a 5-minute walk. What we loved the most was the kindness and hospitaly of the family that owns the Ryokan. They were so welcoming and nice! In each roomed they offered the guests delicious green tea. They also took the time to give us a lot of great tips and helped us make a reservation for the ninja temple! I highly recommend staying there if you are lucky enough to find a room ;)

The rooms are very comfortable. The delicious kaiseki meals, each in a unique room with a different garden view, were the highlight of our stay.

Boasting a 200-year history, Motoyu Ishiya features classic architecture, an original Noh stage and a garden. Amazing experience and a must do in Kanazawa. The welcome is super friendly and they arrange you stuff in the room. The room itself is very spacious and the beds are made when you have dinner. Make sure to be early so you can also enjoy the hot springs but also walk around. Dinner was a feast and definitely full , same for the breakfast. You can wear the yukata at dinner and breakfast.
