Both dinner and breakfast were very tastefully presented and the variety was generous including local produce. The yukatas came in different colors and patterns, one could pick without having to pay extra,where other places would have charge 500yen. There were welcome drinks and snacks. Popsicles after onsen. Onsen had indoor , outdoor, hot, cold, lying, sitting, plus sauna. Massage chairs were also free for enjoyment. The location could not be better if you want to walk up to the Kotohiragu. There were lots of shops and eateries along the route.

Set in Takamatsu, 12 km from Sunport Takamatsu, THE CHELSEA BREATH offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a shared lounge and a garden. Loved the hotel so much we asked to stay another night. Rooms are lovely. Drinks and snacks were available in the lounge and the food in the restaurant was very good.

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Our best stay in Japan! This place is magnificent, beautifully located in the forest, right next to a river and a waterfall. The staff were superb, friendly and professional. We had a private onsen in our room, which was the best we’ve ever had - open air with a stunning forest view. The dinner was amazing and delicious. The ryokan also had a marshmallow BBQ station!

A 15-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, Kotohira Kadan offers natural hot spring baths and spacious Japanese-style rooms, some with a private outdoor hot spring bath. Lovely room with a great view of the garden and distant mountains. The private bath on our balcony was excellent plus there was another bath that could be booked for private use with a view of the forest, free of charge. We had 2 kaiseki dinners which were delicious. There was plenty of food but the portions were more manageable than some similar hotels. The tempura was the best we've ever had! Staff were very friendly. You can walk to Kompira-san via a direct route from behind the property. There was a hotel shuttle bus to the station.

Kikuya Ryokan nằm ở Tonosho, cách Saiko-ji Temple 16 phút đi bộ và Catholic Shodoshima Church 1.5 km. Me and my wife toured Japan for our honeymoon and one of our stops was Tonosho, Shodoshima. We stayed at Kikuya Ryokan and couldn't be more happy with our decision. A fantastic location just steps away from the Tonosho ferry terminal, within a 5 minute drive/bus from landmarks such as Angel Road, and last but certainly not least, our gracious host Miya-san. A cozy and spacious tatami room, amenities, yukata, tea, presents and so much more. Miya-san was one of the kindest souls we've ever met and was instrumental in making Tonosho an unforgettable experience. We'll never forget it and are so thankful for her hard work! We'll meet again, one day!

Yunaginoyu Hotel Hanajyukai tọa lạc ở Takamatsu, cách Liminal Air-core Takamatsu 3.7 km và Sunport Fountain 3.7 km. A very welcoming staff. The view on the terrace and the roof-top onsen are such a great experience.

Old-school resort hotel with retro bubble era elegance and classic hospitality. Shuttle bus toAngel Road and various ports available with advance reservation. Loved the yukata corner and gift shop. Great onsen and spacious room with outstanding views.

A 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Train Station, Kotosankaku Hiten provides Japanese rooms with traditional futon beds and Konpira Mountain views. We enjoyed our one-night stay a lot! Free parking, very close and walking distance to the Kotohiragu area. The room itself was very spacious for 2 people. The onsen was also very nice, there were multiple hot tubs (including jet/jacuzzi ones) indoors and outdoors, and they switch the onsen between male and female overnight. There's also restaurants within the hotel itself. The deco of the hotel along the main walkway and the reception was quite traditional and was nice to appreciate.
