A 15-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, Kotohira Kadan offers natural hot spring baths and spacious Japanese-style rooms, some with a private outdoor hot spring bath. Really excellent stay in this out of the way and beautiful place! Our room had a private hot spring bath - perfect for relaxing after a hike up to the many shrines on the mountain. We came for when the Kabuki theater had a show and it didn’t disappoint. Staff was multi-lingual. Food was excellent, Japanese set menus in a charming dining room.

Kikuya Ryokan nằm ở Tonosho, cách Saiko-ji Temple 16 phút đi bộ và Catholic Shodoshima Church 1.5 km. I highly recommend this inn! The innkeeper, Miya, grew up in this house and knows Shodoshima intimately. A stay here will give you a wonderful sense of how a traditional Japanese home feels. The tatami rooms are so comfortable. I was able to fully recuperate after some exhausting travel. Miya could not be more accommodating and kind to her guests. She will give you many recommendations and guidance to experience this island. This is truly the best place I stayed in Japan for this kind of hospitable experience. It’s very close to the Tonosho station as well.

Yunaginoyu Hotel Hanajyukai tọa lạc ở Takamatsu, cách Liminal Air-core Takamatsu 3.7 km và Sunport Fountain 3.7 km. A very welcoming staff. The view on the terrace and the roof-top onsen are such a great experience.

Featuring free WiFi and a hot spring bath, Tenku Hotel Kairo offers accommodation in Tonosho. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. I stayed for three nights as the Kairo while I explored the islands. My room was amazing, I found the futon on the tatami mats so comfortable. I loved the hot springs. The staff were so kind and drove me to the ferry point every morning and back in the afternoons. Staying on the hill above town was a great experience.

A 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Train Station, Kotosankaku Hiten provides Japanese rooms with traditional futon beds and Konpira Mountain views. It is absolutely beautiful, we stayed in a western style room and it's absolutely huge! It also had an amazing view of the mountain behind. We didn't bother using the onsen as we have tattoos but we walked around the hotel and it's so beautiful with many art pieces and sculptures. The breakfast buffet was also very delicious and the dining hall was beautiful.
