Overlooking Kagoshima Bay, Hakusuikan boasts an outdoor pool and a variety of spacious indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, including a Sunamushi sand hot-spring. This hotel was a very nice surprise. Our room was exceptional - a very spacious, luxurious room with four different areas. The entry way to our room as well as the furnishings in the room were beautiful. It was a great place to relax. The view from our windows was magnificent! Our dinner was very delicious and filling. The breakfast was also very good. The hot sand bath - sunamushi sakaba - was a new, great experience for us. The onsen area is very large and clean, a nice place to soak after a long day. If you go, enjoy the bar located by the onsen - it's free to hotel guests and the bartender was very kind.

Ryoutei Ryokan Takechiyo Kirishima Bettei ligger i Kirishima, 15 minutters gang fra Kirishima Jingu Shrine og 16 km fra Ebino-plateauet. Very comfortable room and nice public bath. The staff were also very helpful and friendly; we got there after sunset and had trouble finding the place in the dark (please make plans to reach before it gets dark!), but the staff were keeping a lookout for us in the cold at the main gate. Appreciate the hospitality and effort to communicate with us even though we did not understand Japanese. The food was also exceptional! Best kaiseki we’ve had! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Onsensui Pool & Fufu Rotenburo no Hanareyado Yurian ligger i Ibusuki, 47 km fra Kagoshima-Chūō Station, og har gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. All their staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. Love the Spring onsen plus a separate spring swimming pool in the villa. Amazing views!!

The location is breathtaking, the food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are warm, thoughtful and exceptional. The rooms look out to the sea, tide pools, and Kaimondake.This is our second time to stay at Iseebisou and we love it.

Tetsuka Ryokan ligger i Satsuma, 34 km fra Sendai-kō, og har en have, en terrasse og en bar samt gratis privat parkering. Ryokanen har en varm kilde og roomservice samt gratis wi-fi. Breakfast was great, the private onsen was excellent, the room was spacious and comfortable. Wish we had time to stay another night.

Featuring open-air hot spring baths and a sauna, Fufurotenburonoyado Ginsyou is located a 4-minute drive from Ibusuki Station. Beautiful hotel that conveyed the essence of the culture and the layout of the room was perfect. Staff was amazing and hospitable. We selected the breakfast to be included and it exceeded our expectations. It made our experience!

Ibusuki Syusui-en byder på rummelige værelser i japansk stil samt store naturlige bade med naturlige kilder og fodbad. The food at dinner and breakfast was exceptional- couldn’t ménage full breakfast but quality was super! All staff great and the staff member looking after our stay Sarin (?) was so wonderfully caring and attentive/ - many thanks!

I wish we stayed here longer. This is where we stayed when we arrived from Kagoshima Airport. Absolutely beautiful place with helpful staff. Best breakfast we had in Japan! The onsen in the room was amazing!
