The place is truly authentic, ppl may describe it as old but it's can't be more wrong. I would describe it as rustic and serene, especially with the river beside it. Yes!! A running river, not much of a great sight but the sound of flowing water bring peace to your soul. Also, there's a private and excusive onsen beside the river, you just have to reserve it. Now to the most important aspect, the staff of Seiryuso.The hotel manager, Kajiki san set the benchmark for top notch hospitality. He has a bubbling personality, always giving out good vibes and positive energy. Always ready to serve and provide service. Always service with a smile.😊😊😊. Well, Japanese are known to provide great service but this is a whole other level. A special shout-out to the restaurant crew, specifically the service staff, didn't manage to get all their names other than matsuyi san. Kudos to the other gentlemen that provided the service.

The Ryokan has traditional gardens, a sauna room and a small souvenir shop. Guests can relax with a craft/art museum and cafe. Daily newspapers and luggage storage are available. It had a calm and relaxing atmosphere that allowed me to unwind and disconnect from the outside world. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, and the multi-course dinners were presented with stunning detail and tasted amazing.

All units in the ryokan are equipped with a kettle. With a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and slippers, units at the ryokan also boast free WiFi, while certain rooms have a balcony. At the ryokan, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels.

There is a snack bar, and a minimarket is also available. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. Absolutely magical place, hidden in a mountain valley, surrounded by lush forest. The rooms look directly onto the river and are very generously spaced. Sadly we were only there for one night. Big mistake, it feels like you could spend an eternity there.

The 3-star ryokan is 48 km from Kagoshima Station. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and a housekeeping service. All their staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. Love the Spring onsen plus a separate spring swimming pool in the villa. Amazing views!!

The rooms look out to the sea, tide pools, and Kaimondake.This is our second time to stay at Iseebisou and we love it.

The whole experience was great, room was amazing. We requested a private bathing experience, and that was lovely in the outdoors.

Private parking is provided on site and free WiFi is available in all rooms. Beautiful hotel that conveyed the essence of the culture and the layout of the room was perfect. Staff was amazing and hospitable. We selected the breakfast to be included and it exceeded our expectations. It made our experience!

The food at dinner and breakfast was exceptional- couldn’t ménage full breakfast but quality was super! This is where we stayed when we arrived from Kagoshima Airport. Absolutely beautiful place with helpful staff. Best breakfast we had in Japan! The onsen in the room was amazing!
