Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. We had a blast. The place was clean and beautiful, the staff was kind and helpful. We stayed in the traditional room with a stunning view. The onsen was so much fun, both the indoor and otdoor. I can only recommend it.

At the ryokan, all rooms include a flat-screen TV, fridge and wardrobe. Certain rooms feature in-room hot spring bath, while some rooms offer a kitchen with a microwave. Me & my husband stayed for one night in the twin room with private hot spring bath. This huge room was very beautiful and cozy, clean & well equipped with different amenities (tea, kettle, mini fridge, yukatas, large tv with a Super Nintendo etc.). Just as promised in the listing. It was so lovely to enjoy the private onsen in our room, nobody to disturb us and no rush. The wooden tub fits two people well, even when sitting side by side. The window above the tub can be opened, the view is to a parking lot/other hotel. We had access to the hotel’s three other private onsen baths aswell and could use them whenever they were free, but we liked to stick to the one in our room. The location is excellent, there are some convenience stores nearby & you can walk from the bus station in about 10 minutes to the hotel. There are also some restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Eidaya and would definitely love to come back sometime! It was such a wonderful little escape from bustling Tokyo.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. The property boasts views of Tonomine, Myojogatake and Mount Asama. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. We have visited 3 times and it always is a wonderful treat. Great baths, great breakfast, lovely room. Warm recommendation for couples.

Air-conditioned rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. Amenities include an LCD TV, fridge, a safe and yukata robes. All rooms have a private toilet and washbasin, while bathroom facilities are shared. Green tea sets with snacks are provided. Both the private and public onsens are beautiful and the meals are spectacular both in terms of visuals and taste! The staff are some of the kindest hotel staff I've ever met and they made sure everything is absolutely perfect for me. The room I stayed in was spot-free clean, very comfortable and, as a plus-size woman, I truly appreciated the yukata size-up options I was kindly offered before I even had to ask!!! Another great point was the fact that it was just a 9minute walk away from the Choanji Buddhist Temple, which is not included much in the "must see" lists of Hakone on the internet, but it is a spectacular temple with a mini forest PACKED with statues of all shapes and kinds. The walk on the temple grounds was such an amazing experience. Would definitely love to visit Mount View Hakone again!

A fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included in each room. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a toilet and shower, while some rooms have a bathtub. This accommodation was perfect for me as it was my first time in Tokyo. It was great value for money, quiet location, friendly staff, and very strong water pressure in the bathroom.

Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu is situated a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Subway Station, near Nakamise-dori Street and Senso-ji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station provides direct access to Ueno, Shibuya and Ginza areas, and also to the Narita and Haneda international airports. We were pleasantly surprised of the hotel. The room was spacious, bathroom was great. It was a fun experience to sleep in a traditional Japanese style room. Location was great and staff was super friendly and accommodating. We loved everything during our stay.
