Popular points of interest near Ito Ryokan include Genyadana Monument, Sankatsu Yukata Museum and Koamicho Children's Park. Tokyo Haneda Airport is 20 km from the property. Authentic stay. Excellent stuff. Excellent experience. Room has really tiny walls however I was quite lucky with quiet neighbors. Also nice, quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

Featuring a terrace with views of Lake Ashi, Hakone・Ashinoko Hanaori offers a soothing hot spring bath and sauna. The property is situated a 2-minute walk from Togendai Station on Hakone Ropeway. Free Wifi is available throughout the property and free private parking is provided on site.

A 24-hour front desk offers free luggage storage and concierge service. The ryokan has an on-site restaurant and shop. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. When I asked the restaurant staff which items were Halal/Vegetarian/seafood, she asked a senior staff member who proceeded to explain each buffet item one by one to explain the ingredients and check if it suited my diet (not having pork or non-halal meats). Moreover, when knowing that my options were somewhat limited, the restaurant staff ensured to share with me the upcoming buffet items on the following days which did suit my diet. I already went to the hotel knowing that my options were limited, but the staff exceeded my expectations by ensuring that we were taken care of. It's worth noting that the food was delicious. They had a dedicated staff member taking family photographs of guests by the water terrace. these are just a couple of examples where staff members put the customers as their highest priority. We also loved the spotless clean rooms and facilities, various dedicated slippers available (hotel room slippers, hotel area sandals, bathroom sandals, private balcony/Onsen crocs). The vending machines, free coffee, gift/shop, proximity to public transportation were quite convenient too.

At the ryokan, all rooms include a flat-screen TV, fridge and wardrobe. Certain rooms feature in-room hot spring bath, while some rooms offer a kitchen with a microwave. Really relaxed and not super particular. At the same time, a top class Ryokan with excellent food, service, rooms and private onsens. Also tons of old videogames and manga.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. The property boasts views of Tonomine, Myojogatake and Mount Asama. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Loved the room & overall hotel facilities. I have lost my backpack; left it on the bus from hakone-yumoto stn to tenyu stn. The staff was very kind and helped me find the backpack by contacting the bus company. I appreciated it so much. Also 2 public bath were amazing!!! Would love to go back!

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath.

Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu is situated a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Subway Station, near Nakamise-dori Street and Senso-ji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station provides direct access to Ueno, Shibuya and Ginza areas, and also to the Narita and Haneda international airports. The location is very quiet, despite being in the middle of one of Tokyo's most visited spots. Close to everything, with lots of great restaurants, cafes and shopping. And more desserts and snacks that you could wish for. The ryokan was better than I expected, the room was not huge, but comfortable. The direct view of the pagoda from the window is great. Wonderful service all around.
