The experience is amazing, after 4 hotel with 4 starts, this ryokan is definitely the best choice. The rooms are huge and very comfy. The bathroom is amazing, we feel Japanese the neighborhood is perfect a lot of restaurants with many options.

This is an amazing hotel. I loved the staff and the amenities that are offered with the all you can eat breakfast and dinner. we could use the onsen outside for our feet. As well, you can book a private onsen. Very close to the pirate cruise or ropeway to see Mt Fuji. If you can book ahead, you'll get a great price and value. I felt so relaxed using this hotel.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Onsens are beautiful, amazing facilities with all amenities. Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The view is great. A very pleasant stay, would recommend this hotel to everyone. Breakfast was the best buffet we had in our whole trip. French toast are the best we’ve ever had! Bus stop to go around the area is right at the entrance to the hotel.
