Featuring a garden, Hakone Onsen Yuyado Yamanoshou is set in Hakone, 200 metres from Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands. This 3-star ryokan features free WiFi. It is an old building. But it is well maintained and upgraded. The room had tatami and kotetsu (cool). It was also realy warm in the cold night. Corridors were wooden and climatic. The batch... yea. Hot and clean water. Big room. Total bliss. Food was also very good. And traditional. Near the ryokan is very nice Ryukozan Choanjit temple and the Sengokuhara Susuki Grass Fields. Overall - highly recomended and thank you for the hospitality!

The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The location is close to two subway stations and in the vicinity are various restaurants and shops. I haven't had breakfast at this ryokan but I heard from other guests it's really good.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. The private onsen was perfect.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. We stayed in one of the rooms on the side of the hotel. The waterfall below felt as if it was flowing right inside the room. It was incredibly relaxing to lie in the bathtub on the balcony in such an atmosphere. I highly recommend staying on this side of the hotel to everyone.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the food was great. The dinner has amazing quality and variety.
