Location of this Ryokan was unexpectedly really good, we thought that we booked a Ryokan in an isolated place but turns out it was very convenient to the places we wanted to go to. The nearest Lawson was only 6min by feet and the bus stops were very close. Staff were very friendly. Garden was very pretty. Definitely could feel the luxury that we paid for

Spacious rooms and a slightly westernized take on the classic ryokan. The room was very clean and we were very happy with the amenities in the room. Very friendly and helpful staff, we felt very welcome!

Originally developed as a lodging for the temples’ pilgrims, it conducts Buddhist services every morning that guests can attend. Nankai Koyasan Train Station is a 15-minute drive away.

A great choice for staying in Koyasan. We loved everything about this place. The staff were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We loved the meditation and morning ceremony. The location is great too. The dinner was amazing and the public bath was fantastic after a long day. Thank you for everything.

Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Excellent hospitality! Their staff was very nice and friendly. They helped to take photos for me & arranged my baggage to the train station. Overall, a perfect service for the guests.

Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. A great experience that is worth it the journey. The food as well was amazing and very tasty

The special Japanese atmosphere is one of a kind, it is not a luxurious hotel, but everything is well organized and elegant, we were treated with polite staff and very comfortable service, we are happy and satisfied with the amazing living/ onsen experience in Seikoro Kyoto. Will consider this place again in the future.

Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The breakfast service was a highlight of our stay! The beautiful decor, authentic experience with the irori bbq made in front of you was incredible. Everything was delicious, with strong attention to detail giving you a humble luxury that feels typically Japanese. The room was simply gorgeous and the bed incredibly comfortable. The complementary items (late night soba, stocked fridge) made it even more special and intentional.
