Conveniently located in central Kyoto, Ryokan KANADE offers a Japanese-style garden. The staff are very welcoming. Not all of them speak English but they all made extra effort to communicate and make sure we have a good stay.

Featuring an on-site public hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant, Yuno Yado Shoei is located an 8-minute walk away from JR Tambaguchi Station. Excellent service.. friendly staff.. great food. Super clean place. The hot bath and sauna was awesome.

The hospitality was exceptional—everyone was incredibly polite, even more so than usual, and went out of their way to accommodate us. The ryokan was beautiful, seamlessly blending traditional charm with modern touches. Breakfast was delicious, and the sento experience across the street was truly unique and fascinating.

We had very nice stay.

Small and well run family onsen ryokan with in house small outdoor and cave onsens which are private in the afternoon of check in and public by gender the next morning. The top floor room named "Maple" has wonderful view of the colourful vegetation on the mountain side and small water feature at the bottom. Owner operator is very attentive and service oriented. Highly recommended!!!

We were curious about the vegetarian food that was offered in this place, and it was a nice pleasant surprise. The rooms were big, compared to other places where we stayed in Japan, and they had heaters available, to cope with the cold. This place was right on the main street of the town, so its location is very convenient to get around town.

Beautiful room design and decorations. Large and comfortable room with a complimentary minibar. Great hospitality from the staff. Highly recommend the breakfast option. 10/10 location 5 minutes walk from gojo and Kyoto station

Authentic place in a very quiet village near one of the most beautiful temples! It was our first time in ryokan and it was pleasant experience (including onsen). Breakfast was very interesting and the owner is sooo kind!
