Conveniently located in central Kyoto, Ryokan KANADE offers a Japanese-style garden. The location was quiet and out of town, but not too far away. The matts and bedding were very comfortable. The rooftop bath was fun. The room was big. There is a good coffee shop close by.

Featuring an on-site public hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant, Yuno Yado Shoei is located an 8-minute walk away from JR Tambaguchi Station. The hotel is very nice; it has all the amenities necessary for a great stay. Staff was friendly and the room very spacious. The open air onsen is a must and a great place to go after a day seeightseeing Kyoto.

Luck You Kyoto offers accommodation in Kyoto. Free luggage storage is available. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. I liked everything, the staff is lovely and provide us with many useful tips. There are snacks available all the time and the breakfast was very good. Also the onsen in front can be used by the guests for free and they accept people with tattoos. The room is as described and I really enjoyed sleeping on a traditional bed

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. The place is beautiful. Its peaceful and surrounded by nature, but very close to center of yown and all the important spits. You can get anywhere walking. The staff and the monks are nice friendly and very helpful, even with us non japanese speakers, they were so patient and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Especially enjoyed the onsen. At night, you can hear the rain and the frogs, loved it! The breakfast was amazing!

I highly recommend this place Location is great and the room quite big enough for all the family In bonus, we had private onsen for just the 4 of us everyday with no extra charge and a private tea ceremony performed by the owner's mother. A really great experience in general - I stayed in one of the suites and could not have asked for a more relaxing and peaceful place to stay, only a short walk from Okunoin Cemetary and an easy walk to the rest of town. Very close to the bus stop from Koyasan Station. Staff were always helpful and the meals were unbelievably delicious and satisfying, even though I needed to ask for a soy-free modification. The best food I ate during my stay!

This was my favorite hotel. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was sick from food poisoning and could not enjoy it to the max, but the staff was extremely good to me. I cannot thank them enough. The futon beds were extremely comfortable, all the structure really took me back to almost 200 years ago. I really wanted to get the traditional breakfast, but I was too sick so I got the western one that was delicious. Cant wait to be back.

The interior and finish were amazing , the blend of Japanese and Scandinavian furnishings were so elegant. Staying at the traditional Japanese room gave us a true Japanese experience.
